land of squares
a war for my eyes
Let my fingers glide
and get lost for a hundred miles
Watch the colours change
in a combination of white
I can see and hear it all
it seems to shine to bright
Hold him down, holy man
open eyes
All that I know,
All that we need
Let's go outside
Throw your keys in the river
and phone in the sea,
Let's go outside
No news in view
the graves stay under the ground
the voice of nothing
is telling a joke
but it's impossible to write it down
but I can hear when the tide goes out
from a distant town
no stopping it now
Hold him down, holy man
open eyes
All that I know,
All that we need
Let's go outside
Throw your keys in the river
and phone in the sea,
Let's go outside
Do this through this
feeling of newness
fakers, liars, into the fires
Light off, night off
time for a sign off
Know this, own this
life is a bonus
All that I know,
All that we need
Let's go outside
Throw your keys in the river
and phone in the sea,
Let's go outside

I saw these guys in the Bullitt at Output in Belfast. Live, they cook up a strange brew of conflicting styles. I caught layers of jazz, roots and psychedelia all directed at creating a sense of unease. I'm looking forward to listening more. Ursula's Crow
